Golf Trails by Emaar Overview

Golf Trails by Emaar is an off-plan, freehold residential project in Emaar South, with 161 homes in total, including one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments and six three-bedroom townhouses. Prices start from AED 1.25 million for a one-bedroom apartment, while handover is planned for October 2030. The payment plan starts with 10% on booking, followed by 70% during construction, with the remaining 20% due at handover.

What sets the project apart is its location next to the 18-hole Emaar South Golf Course, with the design focused on views of the surrounding greenery and golf course. This makes the view and direction of each home more important, especially when comparing apartments with similar sizes but different views. For buyers, the golf-course setting is not just about the view; it can also be a useful factor to consider when comparing different units. 

Golf Trails Location and Connectivity

Golf Trails is located in Emaar South, with access to major roads connecting it to Al Maktoum International Airport, Expo City Dubai and other parts of southern Dubai. The wider community is planned with more than 22,000 properties, parks, retail facilities and an 18-hole golf course, giving the area room to grow as new facilities are added.

The planned expansion of Al Maktoum International Airport could bring more jobs and activity to the area, but it may also mean more traffic and aircraft noise in the future.

Notable Features of Golf Trails

One of the main features of Golf Trails is its unit mix, with most of the 161 properties being one- and two-bedroom apartments. The project includes 55 one-bedroom, 83 two-bedroom and 17 three-bedroom apartments, along with six three-bedroom townhouses. This gives buyers more options at different sizes and budgets, while the smaller number of larger homes may suit those looking for extra space.

Its location next to the 18-hole golf course is another point to consider. When comparing similar units, buyers may want to look at the view and direction of the apartment, as these can make one unit more suitable than another depending on how it will be used.

Golf Trails Amenities 

Golf Trails offers a mix of sports and leisure facilities, including an adult swimming pool, kids' pool, indoor and outdoor yoga areas, padel courts, fitness zones, kids' play area and BBQ zones. Along with the wider facilities planned across Emaar South, such as the 18-hole golf course, golf clubhouse, community park, school, nursery and retail facilities, the project offers buyers another option to consider when looking at an off-plan investment in Dubai. 

However, the value of these facilities will also depend on how quickly the wider community develops and how much of the planned infrastructure is available by handover.

Golf Trails Unit Types

Golf Trails by Emaar offers four home types, from one-bedroom apartments to three-bedroom townhouses. The 55 one-bedroom units range from 719 to 755 sq ft, starting at AED 1.25 million, while the 83 two-bedroom units range from 1,096 to 1,484 sq ft, starting at AED 1.81 million.

There are also 17 three-bedroom apartments ranging from 1,605 to 1,969 sq ft, starting at AED 2.71 million, and six three-bedroom townhouses of around 2,603 to 2,610 sq ft, starting at AED 5.25 million. Homes feature open-plan layouts, stone and wood finishes, and large windows, while details such as balconies, storage and maid’s rooms vary by unit. Buyers should check the specific floor plan before choosing a home.

Golf Trails Greenery and Sustainability 

Golf Trails is next to the Emaar South golf course, with green areas, yoga spaces, swimming pools and outdoor fitness facilities across its shared areas. These features support outdoor living, but they do not by themselves show how environmentally efficient the building is.

The reviewed project materials do not provide details on LEED or BREEAM certification, energy or water use, solar power, water recycling, low-carbon materials or waste management. For this reason, the project's environmental performance cannot currently be assessed in detail.
